I finally got around to getting my Sirius account going again. I haven’t bought a new radio for the car yet, so right now I am just listening to it online. I forgot how much I liked Sirius, and how much I don’t like regular radio. It’s so much better and you really do get what you pay for.
My mom has talking about wanting to go to Branson Missouri for as long as I can remember now. She’s always wanted to go, but just always says that she can’t afford right now. She has said that every Summer for probably about 10 years now. So, for the last couple of years I have been thinking about helping her out some.
I found this website that has really good package prices. There was one package on there that really stuck out for me. It’s for a family of four and it’s less than a thousand bucks. I knew I would be able to find her a good deal, but even I didn’t think I would be able to find one that good. It’s for 4 days and 3 nights, and there is no way anybody else would be able to beat that price. I was pretty shocked when I seen that. My mom was even more shocked when I told her about it. I told her that I would split the price with her, if she would be willing to go. She said she would think about it, but I know she’ll say yes. She would be silly not too at this point.
So, it looks like we are finally going to go, hopefully. I’m thinking even if she says she can’t afford this then I will just end up paying for the whole thing myself. It’s about time I did something nice like that.
I need a new laptop. The one I am using now is really on it’s last leg. I’m almost out of hard drive space, I’m always having to burn something just to download something else. And even that is a problem because it only has a CD burner not a DVD burner, so I can’t burn much at a time. I just need a new one. This one has seen many better days. I did get my money out of it, and it’s stuck around for longer than I thought it would. But, it’s time to move on.
I still can’t believe how much snow we ended up getting this weekend. They called for about the exact amount that we ended up getting, close to 1ft of it. So we’ve spent most of the weekend inside. Even though we did go out to eat yesterday for lunch. And, yesterday morning we made a snow man as soon as we woke up. That was alot of fun.
Well, even though we got about a foot of snow this weekend, I am online looking at outdoor furniture. I know that once all this snow finally melts I think we’re going to start having some nice weather. I’m really looking forward to being able to just hang out in the backyard. But, I need some new furniture for back there. I didn’t really like the stuff we bought last year, but we got it at a really good price, so it was good enough. This year though, we’re going to buy the set that we wanted to get last year, but we just didn’t have enough extra money for it.
