I have been trying to decide for months what I want to do about my eyes. I have wanted to switch over to contacts and just get some cheap glasses for backups, but every time I look I chicken out. I like the idea of contacts, I just don’t like the idea of spending time putting them in every morning.
One of the boys just told me I need to buy him new luggage for the next trip we take. He just tried to open his and broke the zipper. They are pretty old so I guess its time to replace everyones. Well except mine of course, I just bought new recently, but mine get used a lot more than the rest.
My aunt called and asked me what kind of patio furniture I wanted for the deck. It was just strange. I don’t really need more stuff for the deck, but apparently since we have the family over for all the holidays they felt we needed new. It was really sweet of her so I guess we are going to go look later this week.
The boys keep coming up with more stuff from the basement, now they have found 2 adjustable beds. I can’t believe how much stuff keeps coming out of there. I didn’t think that my basement was that large, but apparently it is because they keep finding thing. I will be so glad to get rid of all of it.
I am so glad that the strike is over and I can go back to watching tv on a regular basis. I love to watch my shows and have missed them dearly.
As I kept looking around I also found some commercial real estate worth looking at as well. I just keep finding more and more that makes me want to pack everyone up and move from here. It would be difficult though, most of my family can’t stand when the living room gets rearranged let alone a major change like a move.
I have been looking at real estate again and am still completely obsessed with the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It is a beautiful area and unlike other areas the housing market is still pretty good. If I could pack everything up tomorrow we would move down there without question. I guess I will keep dreaming and just keep looking online.
I got a very strange email today from an old friend from high school. He was going on and on about a new company he was working with and how wonderful it was. Keep in mind I haven’t talked to this person for years. He kept saying “Leptovox is where it’s at.” So bizarre for sure.
I was cleaning out this basement this morning and found 3 shower chairs left from when we cleaned out my mother in law’s house. I might put them on craigslist and get rid of them or I might just wait till I have my yard sale and sell them there. I guess I could always list them and see if they sell and if not I can put them out at the yard sale.
Well as I have wrote about probably a million times now, I am really trying to redo my basement and get some cool things going on down there. I got the ping pong table and the foosball table, which are both great and we use them all the time. But, the one thing that is still missing is a pool table. That is one thing that I have always dreamed of owning. I’m always looking at them online and at the sports store, but I just never buy one.
But, I think this weekend we are finally going to just do it. I found a great price on one, and we have the extra money right now, so the timing is perfect. I started looking around online last night at pool table lights and found some really cool ones that I would like to get. There was one on there that my wife really liked, that was very antique looking which would really match the basement, but I just didn’t like them that much. The ones I like are the green and chrome ones. They look sweet. So hopefully I can order those here soon. I just want to get this project done. It’s been going on for way too long now. Once I get this table set up down there, it’s pretty much complete and we can just go down there and enjoy it all. That will be great. Even though I’m sure there will be something else later on that I will think of that I want to get. But, for now this will do just fine.
